Machine Learning Measurement of Fission Yeast Cells

Applied PhotoPhenosizer, a machine learning-based cell segmentation tool, to measure S. pombe cells in brightfield microscopy images and analyze how cell dimensions change at scale.

This work tracked the effect of genomic instability on cell size over a 12-day chronological lifespan assay, and it is described in a Methods in Molecular Biology protocol on which I am co-first author.
